YOUR DATA, THE BARE MINIMUM.
Updated 20 October 2026
Who
Rob Garrison (Roberto Garrido), Madrid, an individual. For anything about your data: hq@garrison.es.
No analytics, no cookies
garrison.es uses no analytics, pixels, ads or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner.
Your browser keeps on your own device (local storage) only what something needs to work, such as your draft sign-up on the map. You can clear it from your browser at any time.
Likes
You can like photos and videos without signing up. Your browser remembers which ones you liked. So nobody can vote a thousand times, the server keeps an encrypted digest of your connection (never the IP) and deletes it after a day. The count is public and anonymous.
Contact
The contact buttons open your email app. What you write reaches hq@garrison.es and is only used to reply to you.
The Hedera map
If you sign up, the form data (name, city, country, website, GitHub username, SDKs) is stored, together with the proof that the account is yours (a GitHub gist or a Hedera account). Sign-ups are handled by linces.town, also run by Rob Garrison.
For people, only the count per city is published: your name does not appear anywhere. Organisations and projects appear by name on their city's card.
You can leave from the map itself or by writing to hq@garrison.es.
Wallets and downloads
To download originals as a LINCES holder you connect your wallet. Only your public Hedera account is read to check that you hold a lynx; keys are never requested and nothing moves without your signature.
Merch
If you win a piece in a points auction, your shipping details are only used to send it to you and are kept private. They are deleted once the parcel has arrived.
Providers
The site is hosted on Vercel and photos and videos are served from Cloudflare. Like any server, they log technical visit data (IP, browser) for a short time for security.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to hq@garrison.es. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
